CITIZEN'S CHARTER REGARDING SPORTS
FACILITIES AVAILABLE IN CHANDIGARH
The Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration and Chandigarh
Sports Council offers the Sports Facilities for Coaching and
training purposes in Chandigarh. The Coaching and training
in all the sports disciplines is imparted by the sports coaches
of the Department / Council. The Department also allows the
use of its stadias / grounds to conduct competitions / coaching
camps of State/ National / International levels against charges
There are full time Managers / Supervisors for the maintenance
and smooth functioning of the Stadiums. In addition to this,
there is a separate provision of State Level scholarship for
the students of schools , colleges and university @ Rs. 1000/-
for senior category (winner) and Rs. 600/- for junior category
per year.
There is also special provision for sports gradation in the
sports disciplines or the purpose of admission in the professional
colleges and schools as per norms sports gradation policy.

charged for Cricket Stadium for international matches.
- Electricity and Water charges would be extra as assessed
by the Engineering Department, UT, Chandigarh.
